Brownie Brittle Review

I recently had the opportunity from to review Chocolate Chip Brownie Brittle for free. I wasn't asked to write a blog post about the product but enjoyed it enough to tell you about.

Brownie Brittle is like a brownie cookie. Just with the crunchy parts. I don't know about you, but I am one of those people who enjoy the crunchy parts of from a batch of brownies. This product offers just that in square pieces. Can you say YUM? It has that amazing crunch that melts slightly in your mouth. The only issue I had with this product is that it crumbles easily in the bottom of the bag and it doesn't have more squares in the bag. I would recommend this snack and plan on buying a bag soon.

Disclamer: I got to sample this product for free through It's free to join so check them out if you feel like sampling some products.

My Long Hair Donation for National Donate Your Hair Day with Pantene

Happy National Donate Your Hair Day!

I have been growing out my hair for years. Probably about 4 years at this point. It was almost a scary idea to chop it off after all that time. I finally decided that I was done and it was time to donate. I chose Pantene Beautiful Lengths to donate my very long hair to. Pantene has a step by step guide I used to make sure I did everything right. My husband cut about 19 inches of my hair off which pretty much covers 2 donations. It also left enough hair on my head for me to have my hair evenly cut and styled when I get the chance.

My hair shortly after washing it for the donation.

My Husband tied my hair, measured it, and then tied the end of my hair with another band.

My husband then cut my hair an inch or so above the ponytail.

Then Dave stole my ponytail and wore it. He he he :)

After letting my hair dry completely, I sealed it in a storage bag.

The last step was to get it ready to mail off :)

That's how my hair adventure went. Make sure you read all the instructions on the Pantene Donation Page before donating! Pantene can't use donated hair that doesn't meet the requirements. You don't want to donate for nothing.

New Blog Name and a Fresh Start

Is it silly that the name of my blog was making it hard for me to post? I felt restricted from being myself and posting what I felt like at any given time. My previous blog name was Faith and Freebies. I have faith, and I love freebies. But that doesn't sum up what I want to talk about. I felt like I wasn't going anywhere because the name of my blog made it look like I was a freebie blogger that needed to post a long list of freebies every day. I don't think I am gifted in writing devotionals either. So it felt like I was trapped.

Why did it take me so long to realize that I could change my name and url without starting over? Ha ha! I feel so happy right now. I am ready for action! Yay for my new name. Faith, Fun, and Giveaways. Do you like it?

Oh, since I am changing everything around, I need everyone to who was a Bloglovin follower to re-follow. Please follow my new name if you can :) Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Ageless Derma Satin Lip Gloss Review

Disclaimer: I was given a Satin Lip Gloss to try for free in return for my honest review. The opinions on this product are my own.

I can't tell you how excited I was to try a lip gloss from Ageless Derma. I am getting older (nearing 26) and starting to notice some wear on my skin. I haven't really spent the amount of effort on my skin that I should have. So when Ageless Derma asked if I was interested in trying a product, I just couldn't say no. I couldn't turn down an opportunity to try a product that is Doctor formulated to be wonderful on my skin.

I was given the opportunity to try a Satin Lip Gloss in my choice of available shades. The shade I chose was Nearly Nude.

 ^ Nice color right?

When I got my lip gloss in the mail I thought the jar was attractive but kind of small for a $15 dollar product. But this gloss goes a long way. The gloss is made to moisturize your lips and also protect them. You can read the healthy ingredient list on the Ageless Derma website. While the gloss gives a very nice color to your lips, it isn't as shiny as the lip glosses you might be used to. I was a bit surprised that it wasn't as shiny as I expected but not at all put off by it. I think this gloss has a classy look. After trying the gloss for around a week, I can say that my lips are happy. They do feel softer and more smooth. It's nice to have something pretty to put on my lips that actually benefit them. I actually do think this product is good enough to be worth $15. I could even say it's a bargain for everything it offers.

A Smile on My Face with a Nostalgic Coffee Break

I decided to take some time to appreciate some simple things today. Like enjoying my husband's company over an egg and turkey bacon breakfast. The calm nostalgia I got from enjoying a simple cup of black coffee in a mug given to me by a person I care about.

I remember my husband and his sweet smile as he handed me a blue mug his mom bought me from an art fair. It wasn't for any other reason than to send some love my way. My husband helped her pick out the perfect mug from the selection. That's a reason to smile right there.

I brewed the cup of dark French roast from this KEURIG machine I recently won in a giveaway.  It's something I appreciate and enjoy. Another reason to smile.

My nostalgic coffee break wouldn't have been complete without a Little Debbie snack today. A brand of treats I used to share with my grandpa while sitting on his lap. He died more than half my lifetime ago but I still remember how special those moments were. How special he was.

What are you nostalgic about today? What has you smiling? Feel free to share with me in the comment section below :)

The Mary Kay Look Review

Disclaimer: I received the Mary Kay products for free through The opinions are my own.

Thanks to and Mary Kay, I got a VoxBox of goodies to try out. Awesome right? I was so excited to open the box that I got in the mail.

^ Yay ^

I enjoyed looking at each piece, playing with them, taking pictures, and then trying the products out.

This is Mary Kay Lash Primer. Value: $15.
This was the first time I have ever tried lash primer. I didn't know what to expect. I think I imagined something like glue. But this went on smoothly, wasn't too sticky, and dried nice. I liked how it shaped my lashed and made them look fuller

Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening mascara in I <3 Black. Value: $15.
Mascara is something I am no stranger to. I couldn't wait to try this. I loved how well the brush worked with my lashes. The perfectly black mascara went on evenly and looked great. It lasts a good long while without getting a ton of black flakes in my eyes. It did take some work to wash off.

Mary Kay Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush. Value: $10.
This brush has a good design that makes it easy to hold and work with. The bristles are smooth and have a nice shape. No complaints here.

Mary Kay Cream Eye Color -Violet Storm. Value: $22.
I am a newbie when it comes to creamy eye shadows so using this was an experience for me. I just love the color and think Violet Storm is the perfect name for this. Learning how to spread the shadow on my eyelids was a bit awkward but it turned out so much better than I expected. This is a long wearing formula so be careful. It's hard to correct a mistake ha ha. It did take some work to fully wash this off.

Mary Kay True Dimensions Lip Stick in Pink Cherie. Value: $18.
This lipstick is designed to smooth and moisturize your lips. After trying this on I learned that pink lipstick just isn't my color [Insert sad face here]. I may not have been able to pull off the color but my lips did feel soft after using it. The lipstick doesn't have a lot of lasting power but I noted that it did not change to odd colors after a few minutes of wear. It's great for getting softer lips but I don't think I would spend nearly $20 on this product.

This is me wearing my new makeup. Sorry I didn't get a clear shot. I am happy with the makeup overall. My favorite item was the Mascara and my least favorite is the lipstick. Contact your Mary Kay Beauty Consultant or go online to if you wish to try any of these products. Have a wonderful day :)

10 Things About Me. Hoping to Learn More About You.

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a blessed Thursday. This is the day which the LORD hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24.

I figured I would share a few things about myself. Feel free to tell me about you as well. I would love reading about you.

1. I can't really say I have a favorite color. I enjoy black but that doesn't exactly count. I generally go for more earthly colors though.

2. I actually enjoy Spam. The canned meat product, not what you get in your email. Strange and bad for you, I know.

3. I became interested in free samples and other online opportunities when I was about 17. I am 25 now and still have things to learn.

4. I smoke cigarettes. I know it's wrong. Quitting is on the self improvement list.

5. I have never tried waxing.

6. I have never got my nails done.

7. I drink my coffee black the majority of the time. But I do enjoy fancy high calorie coffee drinks.

8. I don't have cable. Netflix is the closest thing I have to it.

9. I really love video games. I have a long list of games I still need to make time to play.

10. I would rather have a regular purse with $300 dollars in it than a $300 dollar purse.

Hope you have a wonderful day and have some time to tell me about yourself. Leave me with your prayer requests if you have any.

So Much Work to Do

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

I have so much work to do! My biggest project is to get this blog running a bit better. I want to have a giveaway on this blog soon. But I need to link my Bloglovin account, create a Facebook page, and maybe get more followers first. It probably wouldn't hurt to learn how to use rafflecopter as well.

Most of the things I need to work on require me to get control of my time. Time management isn't something I am that great at. I need to organize how much time I spend earning & winning things online. How much time I spend blogging and socializing. How much time I clean, exercise, do my chores, and just about everything else. But I am determined to take control.

Send this girl a prayer?

5th Move

I just settled into my apartment after moving for the 5th time in a year. Ouch. On the upside I have electric and plumbing that works right now. I never planned to move so much but it is what it is. Hopefully I can stay long enough to get caught up on my online adventures for a while.

I just got a VoxBox from Influenster for Mary Kay. Going to try out the stuff and then share on my blog soon.

Let me know if you have any prayer requests.

EpiCor Review

Disclaimer: I was given a free EpiCor supplement to try out in return for writing a review.

EpiCor is a an all natural health supplement meant to improve your immune system. Watch the video to get an idea of how it works and then scroll down for my experience with it.

I opened my EpiCor package right away when I got it in the mail. I was pretty excited to try something that could make me healthier.
I quickly opened the bottle and made the mistake of smelling the supplements right after taking the cotton out. Oh boy it smelled bad, ha ha. After I got over the smell I took the pill and was pleased with how easy it was to swollow.
I already had some food in me and took the pill with a full glass of water. I was nervous about how it would make me feel because of experiences with other supplements, but I am glad to report that I didn't get nauseous.

I have been taking EpiCor for about two weeks now. I can't say that I am experiencing a big change but I do feel just slightly more perky when I take them. I don't think a couple weeks is enough time to experience anything too major unless your immune system needs a lot of help. But I am going to continue to take the rest of my 90 day trial. I do believe EpiCor is helpful in my goal to get a more healthy lifestyle.

If you would like to try out this natural immune supplement you can visit EpiCor and look into purchasing it. You can also check out EpiCor on Facebook or Twitter to interact.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!

I want everyone to stop and thank your mothers for giving you life. To thank the Lord that you live. It is a blessing.

I also want to give everyone who is hurting on this day a big hug. I know plenty of people who are struggling right now with loss, infertility, and even healing from abuse. But I want to encourage you to rest in the arms of the Lord. I understand how hard it can be. But we are never alone.

For you have formed my inward parts: you have covered me in my mother's womb. Psalm 139:13

Cottonelle Care Routine #CottonelleCleanCrew

Thanks to Crowdtap and Cottonelle I got to join the Cottonelle Clean Crew. I got free Cottonelle Clean Care toilet paper and Fresh Care Flushable Wipes tubs. An 18 pack of toilet paper with a tub of wipes for me and 2 packs of 4 with 2 tubs for friends.

This couldn't come at a better time because I had some people in my life who needed toilet paper among other things. This fulfilled a financial need in their life and gave them some extra freshness.

I personally love the products. The toilet paper is soft without losing strength and thickness. The wet wipes are strong and don't irritate my skin.

Using wet wipes really does make you fresher. They clean you so much better than dry toilet paper alone.

So what do you think? Do you use wet wipes? Do you think dry toilet paper gets you clean enough?

Deceitful Hearts

Truth: The heart is deceitful and will lead you into trouble if  you let it.

The Lord knows so much better than we do. Check your heart with God's word. Then make a decision.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9

McDonald's Premium McWrap Review #unwrapwhatsfresh

Thanks to and McDonald's, I got to try the new Premium McWrap for free. They decided my influence score was high enough to take part in this promotion.

There was no way I was going to say no to a chance to try something new for free. This girl likes to eat. Probably too much ha ha.

I chose the crunchy chicken and ranch Premium McWrap. The first thing I noticed was how large the wrap was. That put a smile on my face.

I was excited to open up the package and eat! I was even more excited that my wrap was loaded with chicken and fresh green goodness. This was seriously packed with tasty leafy greens, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

I know the produce was probably the vegetable version of Frankenstein dipped in sugar. Yeah, I get it. Not exactly good for you. But it was sure good for my smile. The tasty awesome in my mouth was worth it. I wouldn't suggest eating these every day, but it is a good treat.

My final score for the Premium McWrap = Yum.

McDonald's didn't ask me to write a blog post. I just felt like doing it because I enjoyed myself so much. Have a good day everyone.

Growing Out Very Long Hair

This is just a random post about me growing my hair out.

I have trimmed my hair a few times, but I have been growing it out for over 3 years. I don't think I am done yet but I might freak out and shop it off one day. It's a lot to take care of and work with during every day activities.

What is the longest you have ever grown out your hair?

Prayers For Boston

You probably already know about the Boston Marathon Bombings that left 3 people dead and something like 140 injured. The tragedy is hard to put into words other than saying it is heart breaking.

The world seems to get darker and darker every day. It is the comfort of God's word and His promises that keep me going. Give me the strength to walk out my front door.

I am joining many others in praying for the people of Boston. Praying for healing. Praying for wisdom. Just praying.

We can't understand everything. But we can trust the one who does.

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

I Love My Husband

I am very blessed to have a great relationship with my husband. Dave and I have gone through many trials, as all couples do. But the Lord got us through them. It makes my heart smile to see his face every morning.

One of my favorite moments today was goofing around with Dave in the kitchen. We were giggling and dancing silly. Just because. It's those little things that still give me butterflies. We love playing around and will probably do more tomorrow. Or even when he gets home from work tonight. It makes me happy to know that I can look forward to it.

How about you? What made you smile today?

Happy Resurrection Day

Happy Resurrection Day. I believe that Jesus died to take on the penalty of my sins, that he rose again, and that is coming again. That I am saved by grace through Jesus who is the only way. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth..." Romans 1:16.
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians 1:18.

Schick Hydro Silk Razor Review and Checking In.

First, want to say sorry to whoever might read my blog for being away for so long. I had to move again for the 3rd time in under a year. Lame right? But on the bright side I got to try a Schick Hydro Silk Razor thanks to for free. This razor is not lame unlike my recent hiatus. Being a Bzzagent definitely added some sunshine to stressful times. And the razor made shaving much less painful which was awesome!

Before I tell you why I really enjoyed this razor, I want you to look at the pretty photos I took myself. :p
They even sent me coupons!
Easy on the eyes right?

I see shaving as a chore. I will consider joining the club when someone offers me cookies. I want the job to be easy and fast. I want the results to be smooth. That is what I got from this razor. The moisturizers actually work. They work so well that I didn't have to use anything to shave with (soap is my shaving choice) and my legs stayed silky after rinsing off and being done with the shower. The size/shape of the razor made it easy to work with. The mixture of the 5 blades, design, and awesome silky moisturizers made the shaving job super quick. My kind of razor!

While the blades are lasting a pretty long time, they are also outlasting the silky moisturizer. That is really the only downside I have found but it doesn't really bother me enough to stay away from the Razor.

My final rating: 4 out of 5 stars.

I want to disclose one more time that I am a member of and I was given the razor and coupons to try for free and give my honest opinion on.
